Passage to India: Colors, Fashion, Beads

India has been an inspiration to designers for centuries, but in the past five years the country has taken off inspiring the likes of music, food, and fashion in the U.S.. Even Indian stores like FabIndia are now available to purchase in the US online and magazine’s like LUCKY are sharing this with their readers. The Indian fashion week, Lakme Fashion Week is now on the calendars of fashion editors in every country. We are all turning the pages of Indian VOGUE and waiting to see which designers at New York fashion week will be inspired by India. This season, designer like Chloe, Givenchy, and Balenciaga had hints of eastern elements to their design.

The rest of the week I am going to share ideas on how to achieve these trends by using the beads on Foxy Findings. Check out Haute Mimi’s tips on taking on stylist Indian trends.
